Liquidity Generation Event (LGE)

Ozean's LGE aims to decrease the entry barrier for the new protocol users and provide a solid foundation for dApps to kickstart their activity on Ozean mainnet. LGE participants are rewarded for contributing to the TVL proportionally to their liquidity in the form of points aka Droplets which will eventually be converted to CPOOL tokens shortly after mainnet.

Referrals System

Every user that connects their wallet to the Ozean LGE will have a referral code available to share with others to start earning more Droplets. The person who shares the referral code (Referee) earns 20% of all the points the referred user makes from deposited assets into the LGE. Referred users also earn 10% extra Droplets on their own LGE points. Note: Referrals are only registered once the referred user makes a deposit.

LGE FAQ:

1. Which network will users be able to deposit assets to?

   1. Users who want to participate in Ozean's LGE by depositing the following assets will be able to do so on Ethereum Mainnet only.

2. Can I withdraw LGE assets I deposited and do you keep the Droplet points?

   1. Users will be able to withdraw their assets from the LGE either partially or fully at any time and keep the Droplets earned up until that point. Note if you withdraw all of your assets from the LGE, you will not earn any future Droplets, but will retain the previously earned Droplets.

3. How can I earn more Droplet points?

   1. The more assets you deposit, the more Droplets you can earn. You can also earn more Droplets by referring your friends with your referral invite code and having them deposit assets into the LGE.

4. Is the LGE gated by invite codes?

   1. The LGE staking and referrals for points is not gated, however, we do have an extra 10% Droplets reward for those who use an invite code for the LGE staking, so make sure to get a invite code either from your friends or on Twitter.

   2. If a user doesn't have an invite code, they can simply click the Skip button to go directly to the LGE to deposit assets, but note you won't earn the extra 10% Droplets reward.

5. How long will the LGE be open for?

   1. 2 months after the LGE officially starts

6. What happens to my deposited assets once the LGE ends?

   1. Once the LGE campaign ends, Ozean will enable users to bridge all deposited assets to Ozean mainnet via the migrate function. Users will need to migrate assets by executing another transaction on their supported chains to do so. Note you will be able to migrate multiple assets at one time to save on gas.
