# Token Utility

The Ozean ecosystem features a range of tokens designed to enhance the user experience and foster growth in decentralized finance (DeFi) and real world assets (RWAs). [$CPOOL](/token-utility/usdcpool.md) facilitates governance for the Clearpool dApp on Ethereum mainnet

The CPOOL token will drive governance and staking benefits, including yield from sequencer fees and gas fee reimbursements.

At the heart of this ecosystem is the [$USDX](/token-utility/usdusdx.md) token, which is a USD stablecoin and the native gas token for the Ozean L2. [$USDX](/token-utility/usdusdx.md) is backed by high-quality off-chain reserves, custodied by Hex Trust. In addition to [$USDX](/token-utility/usdusdx.md), the [$ozUSD](/token-utility/usdozusd.md) token is a yield-bearing stablecoin derivative that allows users to earn passive income through a rebasing mechanism, making Treasury yields more accessible to DeFi users and use-cases.
