# OZUSD

$USDX is a natively issued on the Ozean network. Users can mint and redeem $USDX instantly and directly from and to stablecoins such as $USDT and $USDC.

* Native Yield on Stablecoins: Users can convert stablecoins into Ozean’s native stablecoin, $USDX, which is 100% backed by cash and cash equivalents (t-bills), with an average portfolio tenor of <3 months.
* &#x20;T-Bill Yield Stablecoin: By staking $USDX, users can obtain $OzUSD, a rebasing stablecoin that earns socialised t-bill yield, providing users with an enhanced base rate yield bearing product.
